Oni Higgins is a founder, media professional, and purpose-driven storyteller whose work sits at the intersection of culture, business, and faith.

Her career began in broadcast journalism at NY1 News / Spectrum Networks in New York City, where she developed a distinct voice rooted in empathy, credibility, and excellence. She later expanded into entertainment media, covering red carpets, cultural moments, and exclusive interviews for outlets including BET, Black Enterprise, and Bold TV.

 

With nearly a decade of experience across journalism, communications, and brand strategy, Oni has built a reputation for transforming storytelling into influence. In her corporate career, she has led national media relations and brand campaigns for leading beauty and lifestyle brands, securing coverage in Vogue, ESSENCE, Allure, Harper’s Bazaar, and ELLE.

 

Beyond her professional achievements, Oni’s life has been shaped by profound resilience. As a cancer survivor, she speaks openly about her healing journey as a testament to faith, endurance, and divine purpose. That season became a turning point, catalyzing a new chapter defined by courage, calling, and creation.

 

Today, Oni is building founder-led ventures and mission-driven initiatives centered on women, creativity, and purpose. Through forthcoming business and nonprofit platforms, she is creating spaces that celebrate feminine grace, inspire confidence, and equip women to lead boldly. She continues to lend her voice as a media corespondent, speaker, and emerging author, sharing reflections on faith, identity, leadership, and resilience.

 

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Oni holds a Master’s degree in Digital Media Management and is a proud alumna of Penn State University. Her life and work reflect a simple truth: when faith leads, purpose follows.
