Oni Higgins is a purpose-driven storyteller, media professional, and entrepreneur whose journey embodies faith and resilience. Her career began in broadcast journalism at NY1 News/ Spectrum Networks in New York, where she developed a distinct voice that blended empathy with excellence. From there, Oni expanded into freelance hosting and entertainment media, covering red carpets, cultural moments, and exclusive interviews for outlets including BET, Black Enterprise, and Bold TV.

With nearly a decade of experience across journalism, communications, and brand strategy, Oni has become known for merging storytelling with vision. In her current corporate role, she leads national media relations and brand campaigns for renowned beauty and lifestyle brands—her work has been featured in Vogue, ESSENCE, Allure, Harper’s Bazaar, and ELLE.

But Oni’s story extends far beyond her career.

 

A cancer survivor, she speaks candidly about her healing journey as a testament to faith and divine purpose. That season of endurance became the catalyst for a new chapter, one marked by courage, calling, and creation.

Today, Oni is building new ventures that reflect her heart for women, creativity, and purpose. Through her forthcoming business and nonprofit initiatives, she is creating spaces that celebrate feminine grace, inspire confidence, and empower women to rise boldly in their callings.She continues to lend her voice as a freelance TV host, speaker, and emerging author, sharing messages of faith, identity, and resilience across platforms.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Oni is a proud graduate of Penn State University with a Master’s in Digital Media Management. Her story is a living example of grace in motion, proving that when faith leads, purpose follows.
